Holmes DJ is a small business local to the Mount Horeb/Madison region. We specialize in mobile DJ events such as School Dances, Wedding Parties, Anniversaries, Etc.
We began in high school, when two of us thought it would be fun to DJ one of the school dances. We put some equipment together, got approval from the school, and did our first gig! The students loved us and we had a lot of fun, so we came back for more. Since then we have done more school dances and various other events.

Nic Holmstrom, Founder, DJ
Nic is an Engineering student at University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He has always been interested in audio and lighting, as well as music. He spent his high school years working with A/V equipment in the auditorium and playing with the band and orchestra. He now works as an A/V Technician at the Monona Terrace in Madison, WI, where he continues to pursue his passion in live A/V presentation and Music.
Ryan Milbrath, Co-Founder, DJ
Ryan is an audio enthusiast with many years of experience. He (like Nic) spent his high school years playing in the band and working with professional A/V equipment in the auditorium. He now spends his extra time building and perfecting his home audio rig – a beautiful mix of both new and vintage audio gear. He is always adding to his personal vinyl collection along with his extensive digital library. Ryan plans to pursue a career in the A/V profession where he hopes to share his love of music with the world.
Ben Albert, Cinematographer
Ben is a Film student at University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He began his career in film when he was young making short films for fun. Now he competes in film festivals around the area and does free-lance cinematography. Apart from his extensive collection of film equipment, he has lot of experience editing professional looking videos. He finds every opportunity to get more experience in the film industry.
